Question XPUIPC for ivibe support w/X-plane?

Hey, does anyone with X-Plane know anything about XPUIPC? It's supposedly an X-Plane plugin that allows "emulation" of FSUIPC so that you can use extensions or whatever from MS Flight Simulator with X-Plane. I was wondering if this might be a way we could get X-Plane working with the TFS2 without ivibe having to release a driver for it...

Does anyone have X-Plane to give this a shot? It's in beta... And I don't know enough about it to know if the intellivibe module would still even "recognize it"... But it seems worth a try?

Re: XPUIPC for ivibe support w/X-plane?

Ok, so i tried using it with the X-Plane demo... And it (almost) works! The TFS control panel automatically loads the msfs tfs file... And the throttle changes and speed seem to be reflected in the vibrations... It does go flat out while the program loads (similar to how I've seen with the "real" fsx before)... And I haven't been able to get the controls all down for X-plane since I have no experience with it. I guess it's also possible not all of the data craig needs is being emulated by the XPUIPC... But it seems like a start- it even rendered the "Crash" vibration when I would invariably hit the ground after a few seconds... Anyone else with X-plane care to give it a shot? Thoughts Craig?
