Lost at the Beginning

Thanks for prompt shipment. Unit tests OK, But I cannot get the USB xp driver to install. I try to "Browse" for it, but cannot find it when I try to do install wizard. I see it in the TFS Control Panel, and can read it as a notepad, But can't get it to the wizard. I tried using the serial cable, but got nothing. I saw post about checking and changing a BIOS setting, but I am clueless on how to do that. Please help, and be patient, I am an old fogey and not very computer savvy.

Re: Lost at the Beginning

More info: When I plug USB into unit, Install Wizard comes up and asks for software. I select "Browse" and get C:\DELL\drivers\R67150\WinXP. I hit "next" button and still get the "Cannot locate software" message. Other option in "Browse" is: C:\DELL\Drivers\R67150\Win2K. I have tried it with same result.

Re: Lost at the Beginning

Hello Jhay, don't worry, this is very easy. The driver you need is the file (and browse for it) here:

C:\Program Files\VRF\TFSControlPanel\TFS2-USB-DRIVER-WIN-XP-2K.inf

This is the USB driver. If you need parallel, just let me know and i'll walk you through that. Also, if you have any need for a detailed step by step walk through, just let me know and i'll post it for you!

Re: Lost at the Beginning

Also, when installing that driver, you want to say "i will select the location" and then specifically browse to that directory, then select the file, and then if you see two drivers come up, select the one that says "VRF" and not "GENESYS LOGIC"

I'm standing by to be of any additional help you may need
