Need help programming an ivibe module

Hey all, I'm taking the time to learn the modules and create one for BoB2 and I'm running into a problem

I'm using throttle linkage and have it working for the most part. I've got the intensity set correctly on the high end, but I can't find out how to keep the vibes going when I set my throttle to zero. It shuts off altogether. In FSX, even with the throttle all the way out, there's still a rumble from the engine, and that's what I'd like to get here.

Also, how do I manage the texture of the throttle vibe?

Finally, and this is going to be really hard most likely....Without using audiosense, how do I model effects for game sounds like damage or stall shudder?

I really want to stay away from audiosense becuase there are a ton of other noises going on (some loud) that I don't want feedback from. Namely radio chatter, planes flying by, flak bursts, explosions, etc.

Please help.

Oh, for this module, I'm using a thrustmaster cougar HOTAS.

LOL, a year and a half ago I posted this in the forum and it's still #4 from the top with no replies.

I find that amusing. Be back in another 12 months...maybe it will be #2.

Re: Need help programming an ivibe module

Hello from Craig, huge humble apologies about that. For reasons far too complicated to go into, I was 'ever so slightly' distracted by some other pressing matters (understatement!!!)

Have you seen the post here?
http://www.ivibe.com/forum/showthread.php?t=538

Give me a bit more time to get things sorted out and with any luck we can get you going on the free TFS3 controller that you'll have as soon as I can get it to you...

About your particular question, the way to do it is to set an effect that runs constantly at some level of intensity so that it is the minimum you'd feel all the time. Damage and stall shudders are nearly impossible to catch because to do them with the universal module, they'd have to be events that you initiate, such as landing gear or flaps, where the trigger for the effect can be set to be the appropriate key or button. Without you initiating the effect there is no way for us to know what needs to be done, and when.

I wish I could have better info for you after all this time since your post.

Where are you located if you don't mind my asking?
